Qual é o seu diagnóstico morfológico?
Esôfago, esofagite nodular, granulomatosa, necrozante, focal, acentuada (canker).

Trichomoniasis (pigeon canker) [Trichomonas gallinae]?
Wet pox (pigeon poxvirus)[diphtheric form of pox]?
Vitamin A deficiency?
O que você achou do diagnóstico morfológico dessa lesão? Achei um pouco difícil escrevê-la.
What I have in mind as typical for esophagitis by Trichomonas gallinae is a very necrotizing, severe and heterophilic process (that would correspond to the caseous material seen grossly) with the presence of numerous minute, tiny intralesional flagellated protozoan parasites. You included most of this information in your morphological diagnosis. Trichomoniasis is secondary to an immunosuppressive disease as you mentioned in your comments. In my experience I’ve seen necropsy cases of primary pigeon circovirus infection affecting the Bursa Fabricius and spleen, and multiple secondary opportunistic infections in the same bird such as herpevirus infection, adenovirus infection, Candida infection, Aspergillus infection, and Chlamydophilla psittaci infection. Hope this helps.
